Ready for Snow? We woke up Monday Morning to a winter wonderland! How crazy!! For the first hour or so of the day I was outside shaking snow off the trees in hopes of saving them from the weight of the snow. Because the first snow came before the leaves fell, the weight is too much for the tree to handle and they snap/fall/bend in ways that they can not recover from. Trees were down everywhere and in Lone Tree many people did not have power.... The positive side A start to a GREAT SKI SEASON! Although most of the snow will melt with a 70degree day this week, the mts will have an amazing base! Breck got 18"!!! Now the race is on for which base will open first. SO, if anyone is interested in skiing Colorado this year, check out www.passwagon.com from some prices on tickets you can only get through the end of the month. AND we close on our place on the 27th of this month, so you are welcome to stay with us if you need to or need a ride from the airport (we are located right off E-470). Im glad the snow is melting, I wasnt quite ready for winter but I love living somewhere the weather keeps changing! Fall, Winter, Spring, all in one week. Last but not least is a fun picture I found while brosing through the digital of the last big snow we experienced....from our cute apt in Indiana and a night of sledding with the Johnsons!

It has Been Awhile...And the leaves are starting to change here. The golden hues in the aspens are the only thing so far letting us know that fall is beginning, though they tell us that it could get cool soon. Now that you have heard the weather update =) We have news! We are buying a condo in Parker! We are getting really excited and hopefully I will have more accurate pics later. It sits next the the Cherry Creek Trail system, a path leading all the way downtown and we have a view of the trail out the back porches and a view of a large park/green space out the bedroom window. The development is called Prarie Walk and has serveral years until it's completion. We found the place one afternoon while visiting an apartment and one conversation lead to another about different locations and we ended up touring the place and loved it! It has two bedrooms and we are the last in our building, the area is pretty low key at this point, but still close to everything with only a 10-15 min drive to work for me (em)...for those who know the area we are at E-470 and Jordan. We don't close until the end of the month, but time is flying... We are really ready for the move. ***the pictures we have in this post are from a similar unit, ours is a flipped layout. We'll add the This gives you a pretty good idea though with the coloring.
