Today was the last day of the three day clinic at Normandy. The Dutch trainer and rider Wiljan Laarakkers flew in Monday, taught 3 days and leaves tomorrow. I rode with another rider each day for an hour and a half. I'm SO tired, but man was it the most fun I had had in a long time! It took some time to understand what he was saying, but he was the most patient, direct and encouraging instruction I had ever received. My favorite line was "Keep smiling, when you smile you see the distance." I loved it. I can only hope others can know what it feels like to do something you LOVE to do.

Josh came to watch today's session making it even better!

I read a short list of "helpers" on growth...I read it for small business info, but I think everyone can take something from it. I need a new Fish Bowl

It is a new month and the summer schedule has begun! I spoke with a good friend about boundaries and more specifically, how bad I am about creating margin in my life. You would think every time I make a new schedule I would just block times out that I am not available to teach...I do....But Somehow those blocked areas fill with up with names.

Most of the students I have begin their out-of-school routine next week giving me the afternoon off. YEAH. Josh came home around 5pm we both got ready to go out and laid on the bed to "rest a few second" Four hours later we woke up! Add it to the list of reasons I need some boundaries and some sleep.
