CRAZY Driving! The cold weather came in today and soon followed the snow. By the time I was done teaching lessons tonight everything was blanketed!! YEAH! Until I had to drive. Usually I like driving in the snow, the challenge of navigating through the powder is thrilling, but tonight was like nothing I had driven before.

I drive 17 miles from door to door, work to home, and within the first 2 miles there were 3 sets of accidents. One guy crashed his sports car into a tree, the other 2 groups had sets of care units by their sides. By the time I made it home I had seen a total of 10 cars involved in accidents. It was one night I wish we still had an SUV with 4WD.

I only wish this great snow could have arrived a week earlier. Last week we were SO excited to welcome Mark and Jess Schmerse to Colorado! I was able to go skiing with them one day in Steamboat and joked when I first arrived about the lack of snow! I had a great time spending the day with Jess, Brooke, Mark and Paul....with all the new snow they will just have to come BACK!! (Steamboat Spings just got 20" today!) and Josh can join us. The pictures of the guy was taken today =)

I was thankful for friends, skiing, quality time, and the man driving the shuttle from free parking to the lifts who found my keys early in the day and held them until he found a distressed driver later that evening. I was so happy when he pulled up, I started jumping next to his window with my first instinct to give him a big kiss!

Hope Everyone had a great THANKSGIVING!

A Late night Read

On Wednesday I got a phone call with surprising news. One of my rabbits, Radio, had delivered babies! Freaked out that they would freeze in the barn I convinced Josh to let them live in one of our bathrooms. Momma in tow I brought the 4 little ones home and we have been learning more and more each day about the raising of rabbits. They are SO tiny!
